hey guys, I have been screwing with my body kit for quite osme time now and now matter how much I trim and re fiberglass I just can't get it to lookright around the headlights and such as good as the stock bumper. here is what I am thinking....

If i take the stock bumper that is made of the ABS plastic or whatever, could I cut the top half off of both bumper and bond the kit to the top half of the stock bumper so that it all lines up? Not sure if it would bond well with the ABS or not. If it will work, what would be the best process. I woul thinking justfasten it from the front so that it lines up right and then from the back put a strip of fiber glass along th seam, followed by a large strip and so on and so on. untill I have built up a strong enough joint betweent he two. Then I wouldfill in the seam on the front with a thin layer and glazing putty. Any thoughts on this?
