Hello Everyone..
Been away building my Rotary powered 1986 B2000 for a while but I am back to show you guys a neat rear-end.
Ok..this is a 1991 B2600i 4x4 rear end that I customized for my Pro-street 2WD B2000.
Here goes.
Started as a 1991 4WD rear with the original 4.44 gears. Its axles are real beefy..
First we re-drilled the original 6Lug axles to the common 5x4.5 bolt pattern (Toyota) and pressed in Morroso racing studs but before that the backside of the axle was ground flat so the studs would go in straight.
Then we had the overall diameter and the center bore of the axle shaft (wheel face) ground so we could fit Mazda Rx7 (2nd gen) disks. The original backing plate was modified to mount rx7 calipers on. We then flipped the leaf spring purchases so the rear could mount on top of the leafs.
Oh and before I forget the pinion bolt pattern was re-drilled so it could accept any B2000, B2200 or B2600 driveshaft.
