Underbody Neons....

Hey guys, I have ordered my underbody neon kits for the car. Its a street glow kit. My question is what is the best place to mount the front bulb? the rear and sides shouldn't be too hard to mount where they won't be seen. but the front one I am going to have a time with I think. Does the distance from the bulb to the ground have much to do with how well they light?

Also, I am thinking instead of just wiring them up to a switch in the car, I want to hook them up to the parking lights so they come on every time I turn on the lights and they will flash when the alarm is turned on. Is this likely or they not be able to flash this well? are they like a flourecent bulb that will flicker a bit before it comes on? Any info you guys could give would be great.

PS I am planning on hanging the stuff with zip ties and loose screws. is the best way? Iw ant to make sure there is a little play with them to protect against damage from body roll. anyways, thanks guys.
