Clubs

i know theres the ppl that dont like 'em, then the ppl that have to be in them, but my question is what is the right way to go about getting 1 going, gaining respect, quality members/rides, and not 1 1 area..the club i'm in, Dropt Dimensionz, is somewhat of a small group and we're all local, out rides are respectable, just alot of under contruction goin on, so let me hear yalls take, would like to hear from some of the guys in some of the well known clubs that might have helped got their club goin...Thanks!
