Has anyone done this?
What I am planning on doing is painting part of the hood and leaving the rest the cf. Once the parts are painted, I want to clear the whole thing.
What steps are neccessary to prep for the clear to adhear to the gel coat. I know you can just scuff and prime the parts that will be painted, but its the part that is only going to be cleared that I am most concerned about.
