Ok heres the situation, and if i put this in the wrong forum im sorry..
On my way to Indy, i blew a bag/line and had to roll about 250 miles about 1 1/2 inches off the ground..well i screwed up my exhaust badly, put a huge hole in the y-pipe..
Heres my problem: I have a 96, its a 4.3L V6, and the fuel pump came from a 2.2L and it is a 98, my fuel pump broke when we were taking it out, to put the new tank in, thats why i used this one..i was told by different people that it would work fine, and it DID..but now, since my exhaust is screwed up, my truck is running like dog shit..it takes a couple times to start, it stalls very easily, and runs rough and smokes badly when i first start it..and it hesitates to start only once in a while..
Is this a problem with my exhaust, or do i need to get a fuel pump for a 4.3..Sorry for this being so long..just wanted to give some background info of my situation..
