Who has done a z notch and body drop on a 73-87 C-10? I just aquired one that is not done yet and my question is, What do you do about the steering shaft? because the front of the frame is higher and the firewall(and steering column) is lower and the steering gear is on the outside of the frame rail versus the inside like on a newer(88-9the shaft hits the upper control arm. I know I can make a pro stock style steering shaft with the heim joints and all that, but I was wondering if anyone who has done one of these trucks did it another way?
