hydroplaning??

i just hydroplaned off my road this evening. its been rainin for the past 3 days and i hydroplaned around a curb and and spun right into someones driveway barely missing the ditch.i didnt hurt anything on me or my truck but i did take out probably the hugest anthill ever. it sucked big time. but i was wonderin if anybody has problems with hydroplaning on their plus sized tires for 20" and up. cuz i dont recall ever hearing anyone complain bout hydroplaning with big tires?
