looks good dude, i like how you molded the bag plates in the back to the bridge.

your not going to use those push lock fittings are you?

yeah Im gonna use the PTC fittings.. i HATE compression fittings
kdcgrohl   +1y
ptc actually work alot better, as long as you've got good ones. we only use weatherhead 11 series nickel coated.

i dunno, ive never trusted ptc fittings. i know compression fittings will take a hell of alot more psi and i dont have to worry about the line blowing out of the fitting. i keep ptc in the glove box just incase something happened and i or someone else needs them in a pinch. but other than that...its all compression for me. compression fittings are a pain in the ass to work with but i think its worth the pain in the long run.

Im not gonna be running alot of pressure through them.. i only have the 180 psi bags.. I always have probs with compression leaking... The PTC i got are from Suicidedoors.com they should be good.. im not really sure whats gonna happen now that I have a baby on the way...

yeah i hear ya on that, i just hooked the front of mine back up and im anticipating them to leak..lol. i used teflon tape but i prolly should have used liquid teflon to get a better seal. oh well we'll see what happens when i air it up. im only running 145 in my system now but im going to nitrogen so i can run like 200 so i just dont want a ptc to fail on me while im driving.

congradulations on becoming a father, im sure you'll find a way to have the best of both worlds...dont stress over it to much.

yeah, should be, those look like smc brand, which are good, just not the best i've ever used. ones we use are good to 250psi(we never go over 145) and good to match the temp range of any dot air brake line. plus they're pretty.

yep I just went and looked the are SMC brand.. Im gonna probably quit spending so much now.. So i can prep for the youngster.. I want a reliable vehicle.. So im gonna have to bag the front and put the truck up and buy another one.. OR im gonna have to sell it and get something.. probably the 1st option.. Baby wont be here for 8 more months..lol
