350 Swap in First Gen S-10

I was wondering if the stock trany out of my truck will bolt up to a 350? i've got the 2.8 v6 right now. also sence my truck is bodydropped i know the aftermarket headers they make for it will not fit. what should i do instead? any tips would be helpful. thanks.
