Fuel cell for Mitsu/D-50

Does any one know what would be needed to put in a fuel cell in a 2.4 fuel injected Mitsu. I am just wondering if anybody knows if the stock fuel pump is needed or if you would need an external one. And if there are any tricks that maybe I should know about this.
