Harassed by the police

I have seen a lot of guys talk about police harassing you about your rides but it never happened to me until last night. I drove my turd to my daughters softball game and when I pulled up in the parking lot, a highway patrol trooper pulled in behind me, lights and siren on of course. I jumped out (hoping he would not see that I didnt have seatbelts) and asked "what is the problem officer?" He says, "Have a seat in the car and I will let you know in a minute." He whipped out a tape measure, walked to the rear of my truck, bent over and then came back to the car. "Your taillights are to low" he said. I would have raised it up if I had seen him behind me...but I have no mirrors at all...again illegal. Luckily he only wrote me a warning but I still thought it was crappy
