d-50 rear end

i plan on installing a V-8 in my 1988 D-50 and i'm wandering what kind of rear end to get that will handle the power of a V-8 and still be able to tuck rims. don't really have enough $$$$$ to get a rear end narrowed.i have a 350 mildly built with cam and intake and aluminum heads backed by a rebuilt turbo 400 trans with shift kit. thanks for the help
