Picked up the truck from my uncle last August. Starting ripping the motor apart because it had a blown head gasket. The truck had 197xxx on it so I figure replace everything. Had the motor apart in October and started saving to buy new parts. Got most of my parts by last x-mas. Then in January myself and another friend of mine started putting it back together. I replaced just about everything and had the block bored out .040 and the head port and polished. The once it was running I replaced all the brakes and suspension. So I installed beltech drop spindles and S-runner shocks up front. The back got 3" blocks. Once all that was done I redid all the fuel system because the tank was full of 5year old gas. So had the tank acid dipped and relined. Will all that done I was ready for a drive. Truck drives and runs good the only thing I want now is a header and full exhaust. Drove around for awhile with the 60/40 seat and found a set of 93 sport 4runner buckets. Much better and bolted right in. Put a head unit in it and some 4" speakers for some tunes. Been driving the truck for 8 months and I love it. I built it only for a daily but have been bit hard by the mini truck bug. I also have 02 tacoma that is my lifted show truck. But being low is where it is at. Sorry for the long post and I did not take any pics during the build. Dumb I know but there are some to come. The only pics I have of it now is my new 17" and my old 15"
