Chrome/powder coating questions

I got some aluminum parts, valve cover , intake, etc that i had chromed. The chrome is starting to flake off i guess from the oxidation of the aluminum. The question is. How do i get the chrome off, Is there anyone that knows of a chrome shop that can strip these peices for me so i can then powder coat them?
