I'm having a big problem with my truck. I have a 1992 blazer 4x4, vortec 4.3 CPI. Here's what it does... It seems to idle fine, but could have just a small miss or sumthin because my steering wheel has a slight shake to it. When I press the gas pedal to the floor the truck won't rev up. It will also backfire through the intake when the throttle is wide open. I drive it everyday how it is but the only way it works is when I press the pedal really lightly and hold it in one "good" spot where it will accelerate slowly. When I hit a hill and am going up it, I have no power and the truck slows down. I can't move the throttle from the one spot or it will sputter, and rev lower. At times, if I floor it from a stop, it will stall! I have asked around and have been told many different things, (none of which have worked). I have replaced the o2 sensor, the injectors are brand new, cap, rotor, plug wires, plugs, the cat and muffler are new. I have put it on a scanner and the TPS seems to be working fine. A code came up a long time ago. It was a lean exhaust code. I've checked the timing and it was also fine. I am going to check the timing chain because i was told it could be stretched. (the truck has 370 000 km on it!)Anyways, if anyone has ever experienced this or has any idea for me could you please let me know!
