So my yota is currently sitting on 235/30/20 tires
I want to do 22's I can get 225/25/22 tires and they are less than and inch taller.
I figure it would better to get these on the truck now make them fit then try to body drop it rather then bd it on 20's then try to make the 22's fit.
235/30/20=25.55
225/25/22=26.42
Any insight?
Thanks

i have seen trucks on the pinch with 35 series 20's, so im pretty sure you would be ok on the pinch. i doubt there would be room to go to the rocker though, unless you moved the fenders up...which doesn't bother me as much as it does other people. but yea, it would make things easier laying flat frame on the new wheels before the body drop.

Def want to go rocker
And I have already seen many yotas to the rocker on 20's
Never seen one on 22's to the frame or rocker yet.

Some guy in severed ties has a 89-95 yota pickup under construction sfbd on 22's. It was featured in Street trucks about a month or so ago

the unibody? didn't it appear fenderless tho?

That's the one. I forgot it was fenderless. lol. In order for those huge wheels to clear a hood, he might have to go the Bob Grant 24 runner custom hood route.
