So I finally got some free time to get a few things done lol. I was able to get my seats bolted down, cleaned up the engine some-hid all the hoses that are on top of the 22re valve cover, dyed some of the interior pieces black & changed out my Grant steering wheel for a Momo. Oh & I got something the other day too from one of my boys on Streetsoursemag. Its a 57 Chevy dash! The ashtray, radio hole & glove box have been shaved & its pretty much bare with the factory gauges, but its been fitted for the 89-95 model trucks. When I body drop my truck it will go in along with the 56 Belair steering wheel Ive got as well.

how much trouble was it to do away with all the holes on top the value cover

You mean the hoses right lol? Its actually pretty simple...all you need to do is unbolt the bracket thats on the top of the valve cover & remove all the stuff thats on it. After that you can hide all those parts/hoses between the valve cover & the efi manifold. I re-routed a few of the vaccum hoses to hide everything, but if you do that make sure only do one at a time too lol!

I have that exact same momo wheel. California sun phucked it up pretty fast and I need a new one.

...and I need to tint my windshield so I don't need to buy a $200+ steering wheel every few years

awesome dash too. I really like the old school dash idea. What kind of gauges are you putting in?

I know...those streering wheels are not cheap! As for gauges Im wanting to use the orginal ones that come in the dash. Id like to have them redone & cleaned up & have them changed over to white face so they will match the tank pressure gauge that I plan to use as for one of the gauges, but well see!
