My dad has a 74 Stingray that we need to refinish. The current paint was done really shitty about 10 years ago. it was flaking off pretty badly, and we started out by using a razor blade scraper to see how far into this thing we needed to go. lets put it this way, if we sand it down, well probly kill at least 2 DAs. any suggestions? also, corvettes are prone to stress cracks, whats a good way to fix them, then prevent them when we repaint? and finally, should we re-gelcoat it, or use like a ployester primer, then feather, then sealer? thanks fellas
