decided to scrap the old thread i have

So, found 2Jz-GE for $400... no pulleys or stuff like that on it
BUT
there is a VVT-i Head and another block in teh shop will pulleys on it too
VVT-i has injectors and fuel rail and other goodies. good for me

havent bought it yet, still need funds
also need BICperformance swap kit, and supra transmission and clutch stuff, anything i need from going from 22RE column shift 4spd auto to 2JZ floor shift 5/6spd manual???

So im thinking is that motor a GE or GE VVT-i?? anyways, teh spare parts block and head will leave that up to me. spare block has teh pulleys too, kinda, and also has water pump too. I'm pretty tired soo i'll try to sum up what i know and what is available!

oh yeah! Ignition coils and Fuel stuff is on the VVT-i head so yay

ahh sorry to pop your bubble but thats actually the shop's motors... yeah i wished those were mine!
anyways, i havent gotten the motor yet. havent bought it, but some members from TN just requested photos of the motor so i thought i would show them to you guys so you guys can see what's up and stuff.

as for now, i gotta pull of my grille.. AND bumper.. and spray some flat black behind them, like as you can see in the pic with the grille on, there are red spots, so i gotta hit that!

anyways, i'll update you with w/e small projects that come along!

I'll plan to drop in an electrical fan thatll blow from the front of the truck.





I'm thinking about retaining and keeping A/C.
