stripping to bare metal

hey guys i might be able to tow my cutlass to my house and if i do, im gunna put it in the garage and strip it. My question is, is the chemical stripper good to use? Also once its down to bare metal, will it be ok as long as i keep it in the garage as far as rusting goes? And no the dryer exaust does not lead into the garage. Im planning on shaving it all (doors, anttena, trim, etc.)too once its all down to bare metal. I just doubt I will be able to afford a primer job for it anytime soon.
