Mazda interchangeable door locks????

i was wondering could you use the mazda pickup door locks in a miata door handle? Wondering if they was interchangeable or if they was different.. any help or advice would be appreciated... they are the same year .. for example 1990 miata handles with 1990 mazda pickup door locks? compatable or no??
