1/2 inch bags with 5/8's inch line

I have yet another question for all you guys. Im baggin my S-10 right now and already have all the brackets 4 link, C-notch and Single port 1/2 inch bags but i was wondering since ive heard that people say when you have 3/8 inch port bags you can use 1/2 inch line and the bags will b alot faster so i was wondering if it would make a difference with my setup if i ran 5/8 inch line with the 1/2 inch bags???
