how to mount a center console

hey whats going on guys i plan on building a center console this weekend the only thing im sorta stuck on is how to mount it to the truck any pic would help or anything thanx alot..

I plan on having a few holes in mine (Shift boot, maybe a compartment that opens) and I was going to make small bungs to go underneath it there. Basically some 3/4" rod tapped int he center to 5/16" and then it would be hidden. Just weld the rod to the floor of the cab. If you go to hardwar stores they have long hex nuts, about an inch long, that you can buy and use the same way. Just my idea.
