led lights on an s10

Is there room on the s10 to mount the lights between the roll pan and the bottom of the tailgate. I have seen this done on fullsizes such as catch 22, just wondering if it could be done on an s10. I'm thinking of getting 2 12" bars, would everyone say that silverstar is the best place to get them? Thank you for the help.
