AC compressor....

Guys, how long does it take an AC compressor to pump up and air tank for air ride? wondering if this might be a good method for me to use on my car. I am just think'n that having those loud compressors might get anoying after a while. Also, would I have to goahead and get rid of my vents on the dash and not use the AC pump for my ac anymore either? like one or the other? Any help would be great.
