No Power at all in my truck

Ok... so im driving today and all of a sudden (while in motion and not shifting) the truck starts stalling and then running... like split seconds it does this... then it completly stalls and no power at all... so i pop the hood.. it smells like an electrical smell...

I figure must be my alternator... but the battery still has power and sparks... try boosting it... but nothing.. not even the under the hood light goes on.

There is no power to anything... i have no clue what the problem could be... but now my truck isn't moving anywhere... its raining and cold as hell outside... and i have no way of hittin switches to get my truck to a good height to push it into my garage...

what the hell do i do??
