ok here is the deal, i have an 89 z71 step side bed i bought for my truck but never put it on, i started working on the bodywork part of it and now its useless to me, its taking up room and it has to go, my loss your gain, i'll be out 250 bucks but something just have to go, this is for free you pick it up. here is the scoop on it, shaved stake pockets, tail lights, gas door, no roll pan on ot, no tail gate on it, the headboard is bowed toward where the cab would be in the center, looks like someone threw something in the bed and bent the top rail, easy fix, also, it had bed rail caps on it, well when i got it to my shop and took them off i almost shit myself, someone had cut the body from the front to back above the bodyline about a 1.5 inch slice down both sides of the bed so i welded in sheet metal and body filler was spread over it, i never finished sanding it. so the body line is now gone too ( upper line ) some of the underneath cross members are soft and have a little rot, i would replace them, this bed has to be finished, it is not a mint bed, but can be with a little time and a few bucks, its is a damn nice project for free, just finish it up, i will not hold it for anyone, first come, first serve, it has to go asap and again, its 100% free. its located at 42160 us hwy 19 in tarpon springs florida. you can email me at
