Sub box under dash

I've got a sony 10" in a hatch box between the seats of my reg cab. The box is ported and sounds good but I'm gonna build a new box/console so my seats can be where they need to be. I also want to put another 10" under the dash, has anybody done this? Would it sound OK?

mount them in your toeboards. I saw an article on this a while back in some stero mag.

You mean the kickboards? It's body dropped 3" so there's not enough room. There's also the tubs in the way. Thanks guys

Lugtucker, how many layers of glass is the box?

its 1 layers of fleece and about 3 or 4 of matt and then some short strand on top of that and some chop matt inside....but my trucks bodydropped 3-3/4 and there is room for kicks ...not much... but some

I built this so I would have shoulder room. I'm gonna get another and try to get it under the dash next month.
