I need some help guys. Ok well I got a 90 Hardbody with no origional key, any key will turn it over. The problem I have is there is a button on the ignition where if you turn your key all the way back and push this button in then your ignition is locked unless you have an orgional key to it then you can turn it back over. Well I dont. I was just using any key and not turning it back to ignite the switch. Well now that its locked I have no way of starting it. I need to know if I can swap ignitions seeign how I have a spare truck that I can take it off. I just need to know how to take the ignition off. There are no screws or anything that hold it. Or can i just cut that switch off and drill out the keys slots on it where the origional key would unlock it. Any kinda help will be appreciated right now! I need to figure out soemthing quick! And Nissan can not make me a key just to let you guys know. And a Locksmith wants 120 for a key and Im not paying that kinda cash for one.
