I need some in and outs of bagging a 2002 ext cab Tacoma but didnt get much response in the Toyota forum. He wants it to lay frame on 225/40-18 (25.1") tires, so give me a good idea of what kinda mods will need to be done. Any kind of cab tunneling for the driveshaft?
The front is what Im concerned with really. I heard something about flipping the ball joints (upper or lower?). The truck has aftermarket upper arms now, can these be used with the bags? Im certain the inner fenders will need to be cut out quite a bit, what about tubs in the firewall? Any kind of steering issues? Crossmember problems? The exhaust is the lowerst thing on the truck now but I can tuck that up.
Im just looking for any insight to how big of a job it is to lay on this 18s because I have a limited time to work on it. Im not new to bags at all, just Toyotas. Thanks for the help.
