Truck running like Poo, ok, not at all

i've been reading all these threads about wireing problems in dimes. well i got one too, now with the body drop done it won't run. i ditched my ABS and i just cut the wiring harnesses off and taped each wire off individually then together, while doing that i fried my fusable link. thought nothing of it, figured i'd change it later. next day we go and start it and nothing. it fired right up just the other day. so we jump it and it runs fine, but then dies again, the batt. was dead again. jumped it agian, it ran, and died. so i got a new Batt. and it fired right up and ran for quite a while. then did some other work. the next day it woulded even turn the lights on? so the batts draining somehow over night.so my question is, is the fusable link that goes to the ABS attached to the Alt? cause i haven't replaced it just yet, but why would it be draining the batt?
