can't get the color right

I've been asked by this guy at work to photoshop his wagon. I have ran into a problem trying to get the color to look right. Everytime i do it it looks cartoonish. If some one could fix the paint i would be very grateful. oh yeah , you can loose the woodgrain too.

this is the color he is looking for, but just the stock color would be ok
