Inner fender options?

Ill be baggin my truck and will be using some type of trailer fender out back or something for the wheels if needed.. i have 18x9" wheels with 235 40 18 tires.. i know my front isnt gonna lay out without removing my inner fenders.. so im plannin on ditching them, but what have others done to put fenders back in.. ive seen a couple people who have fabbed up some fenders and welded them in, just seeing what everyone else had done, how hard it was, and what you used. thanks... also any info on what i can do with my tie rod would be appreciated, im not sure if im gonna have problems with it or not.. its really close right now with a 5" drop in front, and ive heard use shims, but is there any way to shorten the tie rod or anything?
