Saw a thread started about this on SSM. Yea, the Von Dutch company thats out now pisses me off. A while back, I thought I'd make my own.
Those are them. Modeled after a plaque I saw at a local car show, with my own twist. Took a picture of it, and didn't differ much. Just cleaned up the design, and drew the eyeball the way I thought it should be. A little more detail than a cast plaque could show. Still have the screens for the shirt. Never mass produced the shirts. Theres only 9 in existance, 3 are framed. Me, my friend, and his dad were all fans of Von Dutch, so we each have 3 shirts. Two to wear, one to frame. Just thought I'd share.

Do you know anything about Kenneth Howard? If so and still like him cool. If not do a search. Interesting life.

I know exactly who Kenneth Howard is, and I've done plenty of reading on him, and what he's about. Most people don't recognize the name.
The thing that ticks me off is when people ask where I got the shirt, or say something about the symbol being wrong. I respond with "Do you even know who Von Dutch is?" Most deny that it's a person, but a brand.

Yea guys talk about making shirts like that on a traditional hot rod site I post on.
Its cool that you know who Kenny was. Like you said most don't. I like his stripe work. He really hated everyone. And even his friends agree he was a rather angry person.

Have you ever heard about him painting the lady bug on the guys car after he drove across state to have Kenny stripe it.
Guy got pissed and wanted just the bug removed. It didn't happen.

Lol, I did not hear about that. I did hear about him flaming out a Gull-Wing Mercedes, just to piss of the restorers.

I would love to have a shirt of that. When that "clothing line" started to take off and everyone was wearing it, a few buddies of mine would stop people in the mall or where ever and ask them who "Von Dutch" was...all kinds of funny answers, but they mainly said a clothing designer...
Very interesting guy, Ive done reports on him for school and such too, hoping to educate a few people..haha
