iv got a 68 suburban. had 4 wheel drum and when i bought it, it was 1/2 way through getting 4 wheel disc. it has a classic performance front kit on it(chevelle rotors, camaro calipers and an adapter bracket for the stock drum spindles) everything is bolted fine, no problems there...
after a very chitty pedal i found some of the threads in the proportioning valve were pulled. so i ordered a new one. the hydraulic system is all tight. no leaks. but i have no pedal whatsoever.
after gravity bleed and a 'regular' bleeding of the brakes i still have nothing. FYI the booster, master, and calipers are new. the master being most recently replaced. today(friday) i got another master but havent installed it(i dont think thats the problem but with NAPA parts ya never know......)the master is a stock 72 corvette master. please help me out. this is the only thing keeping me from moving on with this truck. i dont have much presure to the back brakes. when we bleed em not a ton comes out. im sure theres air in the back still but i cant get the pressure to build enough to get solid fluid. this topic is a novel enough. maybe someone has an answer or idea......THANKS.....
