I got a 2600 4x4 for 100 bucks, only catch is that the motor is shot. All my buddies are tellin me to put a 302 in it, but nnahh i need it to be cheaper on gas. My question is this, i have a 2.0L and tranny from my 86 parts truck... could i put that in there? Because from what ive read the 2.0 wont bolt up to the 2.6L tranny. So ide put both in, and it would only be 2wd(pull all the 4wd stuff) Stupid idea? or a good idea? Just cause i cant find a 2.6 around here at all.
