accident problems

has anyone gotten in an accident and had the insurance company give them a big run-around cause there truck was so modified? Not saying they will only cover for stock parts, but like not covering at all, caude they say the (air) suspension isn't safe or truck is to low or blah blah blah? what im getting at is a brake line on my truck burst and i rear ended someone today, and my mazda is bagged and i hope they will still give me coverage under mechanical failure and not F me in the ass for having a bagged truck, BTW i live in BC canada if that changes anything
