On my way into work yesterday I was on the freeway in a little bit of trafic listening to Stern when all of a sudden POW!! My driver door window blew up and glass went all over me. Not sure how it happened since I was in the middle lane and not going fast enough for a rock to shoot out from another vehicle. So I am thinking that some punk kids threw something from an over pass or shot a beebie gun? It is unusually cold in San Diego right now but I have had me truck in much colder weather. Has this ever happened to any of you?Oh and by the way a new window is $120 unless you break the scissor mechanism like I did and then it will run you an extra $110 plus $65 labor to put it in. But I am going to try to get the part from a wrecking yard and save some $$ on that part.
