My parents sorta gave me a car to drive but its not mine so i dont want to do major mods to it since i won't be keeping it long.
Basically, i know its a slow car, but i want it to atleast feel a bit faster than most stock cars. Its an 02 civic lx sedan. So far i have done cold air intake that didnt fit so i just cut it so it would fit. Now i've heard/read that when your getting more air in, you need to get more out, so im thinking about doing just a muffler. I took a look under the car and it appears to have 2 mufflers on the exhaust pipe. Now i know if i get a muffler the bigger one gets taken off and you add a straigh thru pipe to it, but then theres one right infront of the rear axle that looks also to be straight through. Can anyone tell me waht this is, and should i replace the smaller muffler with a straight pipe and then add the muffler? Basically i need to be able to get the car back to stock when im ready to hand it back to my parents.
Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
