Added fans on compressors

I saw in the profiles featured that a guy was running amp fans over his compressors. Anyone else do that? Does it really help. I saw on ebay you can get the stinger fans that are a little different then the ones in the profiles but if it helps keeping the temps down on my compressors i'm all about it.
