tips or tricks on laying the clear down with minimal or no orage peel

Hey was sup guys,I just wanted to hear from some experiace painters on this subject. I work at a bodyshop and I'am beginning to do nothing but jams and painting parts I want to take advantage while I'am doing this to practice some different techniques. I wanna try to lay my clear down without orange peel I know the most common faut to lots of orange peel is to much pressure and too close to surface. Any tips, tricks and suggesgtions would be appriciated. I was using a 1.5 tip gun to clear but my boss has me using anything from 1.2-1.3.1.5 I work at a production shop dealership so all of out clear is production clear, dont know if that makes a difference.Thanks
