webmasters help with scripts

I thought I would ask. Is there a script or any easy way to use small photos for the thumbnails and then hyperlink them to the big photo? I put my signature on each photo that I take but I don't want it to appear on the small photo (thumbnail), is there a script for that or do you have to do that manually for each photo? Thanks
