79 toy, how to drop the front to the ground?

I have a 1979 toyota pickup, 2 wheel drive, with the control arm from end. When i lower the torsion as low as it can get it is still 6 inches or so off the ground. So if im putting air bags on the front what do i have to do to get it to go all the way down? Do i do away with the torsion bars? Is there some kind of trick? Drop spindles? Im new to this so sorry if this is a newb question.
