my pet savanna monitor

got him on sunday from a friend... he is only a baby.. less then 1 year old.. his name is stumpy, due to his tail that is missing the end.. and yes, im sure if i gave him the chance when holding him, he would bite me.. I just have to tame him down.. he eats mice.. thrashes them around(even though they are already prekilleD) the tank.
i have him housed in a 300 gallon tank.. that is 6' long, 3' wide, and 2' tall.
he will grow to around 5 foot and weigh close to 30 pounds.

Ive had freinds that had them.
There is a pet shop in the area called Prehistoric Pets and they have some big fuckers. 20' snakes Big Nile Monitors, some crazy shit.

Yea my friend had one that was like 6 foot at 10 months. I think I'd have to have my own house, cause thats a big fuckin snake.
