okay im going to try to explain this the best i can....since my motor blew up i pulled it out and decided i would tub new fenders and paint my engine bay and some other parts and what not. well winter is here and i got it all primered and block sanded but its been too cold to paint. last night it was 15 degrees. it was in the 20's by 5pm. my garage im doing it in is 50'x100' w/ 20' ceilings and my little heater isnt doing a damn thing to heat it. lol. well a buddy of mine said i could use his garage to paint because its smaller and can be heated enough to paint. my truck is on jack stands right now without any air to hold its own weight...is there a way i could hard wire my compressors to turn on and run them or just one enough to build psi to get it off the ground? would running the compressor(s) to direct power harm the compressor or do i need my relay? also once/if i get enough pressure in the tank how do i get it through my valves? i dont have a motor or tranny and all my wiring is pulled out so there is no power at all running to my ignition to make this work like it does normally. is there a way to do this manually by just arcing wires together? all i need is it to get the truck on a trailer.

i have been testing out my valves by running wires to my other trucks battery.. and touching them to the grnd and power.. and it worked for me.

what about the compressors though...do you think it would harm them at all if i just wired them straight to a battery. or at least just wire one up to get the job done.

you should just t off a schrader valve to your home compressor and fill it with that, but if you have to hardwire em go ahead, even though nothing will probably happen there is a chance you could burn em up without a relay, so go for it, just keep in mind you may be buying new comps. but probably not, lol

yeah thats the problem, i already hooked up all my air lines and such everything has been plumbed so if i can help it i was just gonna see about hardwiring it....what if i hard wired it from the relay? like went from power of the battery to relay and then ran a wire to ground at the frame...the compressors are grounded to the frame so that should work right? then the relay stays in the circuit and it would be okay (i hope)
