I am getting ready to do a triangulated four link and I am using 11/4" solid steel bars and 3/4" himes joints. on my 97 silverado and I have a few questions.I want to do it with the top bars going to the rear so I dont have to move or replace the tank.and the lower bars going forward.the questions
are:how well will a setup like this ride on the street? I was thinking of mounting the bags on the lower bars for ride quality.I am going to do a bunch of work on the rear frame like boxing it in removing the spare tire mount and x braces. and re-doing the notch and bridge(using some tubing I haven't seen anybody use yet....think american chopper) would you suggest mounting the bags on the bars or the axle?I already have the valves and switches for a f,b,s,s would this fourlink work for this? or do you think it would bind?any suggestions on a different setup? what do you have on your truck? post a pic of your setup.I had thought on going with a standard paralell fourlink but I dont have the panrod bar.
