So today i went out to my mazda, went to start it so that i could fill the tanks. I go to press the clutch down so that i can turn the key, and as soon as i press the clutch down, it just falls right to the floor, and dosent come back up. If i lift it up by hand it i get past a certail point and just stay up on its own, but it will not come back up when i press it all the way to the floor........what could be the problem......its like theres no pressure on the pedal at all, you know how theres usually back pressure that will push the clutch pedal down, and it will return up like normal. Well mine doesnt do that, i can tap it down with little force, and it stays thare, i can also lift it back up with little force....and it stays up also.
What is it that pushes the pedal back up after you push it down....... a spring, just revers pressure...what, sorry, engine and tranny stuff is not my area, never understood it, never will.
