Whats needed to lay frame?

This year is was fortunate enough to get a beater (95 dakota) that runs awesome and is in great shape. So obcourse i got to bag it after winter right? So my question is. How can i lay the front out on the frame on a 225/40/18? Can i just use cups cut to the right height,spindles, and notch for tie rod clearance? Or do i have to use a set of tubulars for the uppers too?
