Turn signal switch inside cab

My headlights wouldnt turn on, for some reason I didnt jump the relay to see if that was the problem first. I took apart the steering bezel and removed the 2 screws holding the switch in. The switch had a little metal cover over it. To my surprise, a spring sits inside somewhere. You called it! When I said somewhere, that means it's somewhere in my garage and theres a fat chance of finding that. Does anyone know the size of the spring? Where it sits behind that plate? I cant get it from the dealership. Please, anyone help! You know, one of you can take your bezels apart and gimme the answer...I know, fat chance of that too!
